Movement

Hand Balancing: Why stand on your feet when you can stand on your hands? In this class, we work on exercises and drills for developing proper strength and control for various floor inversions. Using a mix of yoga, gymnastics and modern dance techniques we work towards headstands, handstands, tripod, crow and much more!*

Flexibility: This class will focus on the best stretches for added flexibility in your workouts. We use the pole, yoga blocks, bands as well as the floor to increase flexibility in the hips, legs, back and shoulders. Activities that lengthen and stretch muscles can help you prevent injuries, back pain, and balance problems. A well-stretched muscle more easily achieves its full range of motion.*

Functional Mobility: Functional Mobility is a system of strength training for your joints and the tissues around it. By making your joints stronger and more resilient we can have better movement quality, reduce the risk of injury (and rehabilitate if an injury ever does occur), and get stronger and bendier for all of our on-the-ground and in-the-air activities!*

Down Low: An all levels class that utilizes elements of fitness conditioning, sensual movement and dance theory to provide a total mind and body movement experience. This 60 minute class is made up of body conditioning, lateral movement drills, intricate floor sequences, exploration of sensual movement and an understanding of total body awareness.*
***KNEE PADS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS**

*Great for beginners. All levels welcome.
