ALL of our classes are designed to accommodate your current skill and fitness level. No prior experience is required and our classes are for students of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. Aerial
“How many (Poles, silks, Aerial Hoops) do you have?”
Our pole studio is outfitted with 6 45mm poles (4 are chrome and 2 are stainless steel) all of which are competition height and spaced. Being a cutting edge aerial studio, we feel it is important to offer pole diameters that are among the most popular in the industry. Our studio is also outfitted with 4 points for Lyra and 4 points for silks.
Do you offer private aerial parties?
Yes! A hit for Bachelorette Parties, birthdays, or any reason to celebrate! A private aerial party offers you and your friends a chance to shed any inhibitions and really have some fun. A truly memorable experience for all! It is important to schedule your party at the start of any festivities because pole/aerial and alcohol don’t mix. Contact us to schedule.
Am I too old to start aerial fitness?
No! We cannot emphasize this enough. People of all ages love the benefits of aerial dance. Aerial fitness focuses on strength building exercises that are incredible for maintaining bone structure. Every student is encouraged to learn at his or her own pace. The most important thing is to have fun and reap the benefits of the highly effective workout that aerial fitness offers.
Is there anything else I should know before my first aerial fitness class?
No jewelry policy: Jewelry should not be worn in any of our classes as they can cause damage to the equipment or cause injury to you.
Aerial – Pole
Who can take Pole?
This class is open to any person of any size, shape, or fitness level. No previous experience is required!
What should I wear for Pole?
Most beginner students feel comfortable wearing shorts and a tank top or t-shirt. We recommend having at least your calves exposed to allow better grip on the pole, although shorts that allow knee exposure is preferred. As you progress, you will want to wear shorts to allow for climbing. Please do not wear lotion before class as it will impact your ability to grip. Class is held barefoot, unless otherwise indicated.
Is Intro to Pole required?
Yes, we ask that all students new to our studio take Intro to Pole, where you will learn the basics of pole fitness. If you have poled before, we ask that you still take this class and from there, our knowledgeable instructors can place you in your appropriate level.
What will happen in the class?
When you arrive at Dimension Fitness, you’ll fill out some quick paperwork. Then we’ll give you a tour of our facility. Class will begin with a short warm-up. You’ll then learn lots of tricks and spins on the pole! Class will end sequencing a number of the moves you learned together into a fun combo before a cool-down.
